Matt was born and raised in Merced County, where he currently resides with his geriatric boxer dog, Drogo.  Throughout life, Matt has grown fond of the great outdoors and the natural world.   He enjoys Baptiste yoga, biking, wake surfing, and snowboarding.  Matt is a talented musician with a love for playing guitar.  In his free time, Matt works on his passion project of composing a debut EP album.

Matt Siemens is currently working as a contract GIS Analyst for Turlock Irrigation District (TID) in Turlock, California.  During his time at TID, Matt has progressed to the GIS expert in his department for all snow depth lidar data produced by Airborne Snow Observatories Inc. (ASO).

Currently, Matt is seeking to grow his career with new opportunities.  Matt believes in the power of GIS and understands its value in all aspects of society.  With GIS, Matt can contribute to local and global impacts that emanate progressive positive change for the planet.
